On 15 June, we hosted a webinar discussing the implications of the Middle East conflict for upstream supply and corporate strategies. During the webinar, our senior experts explored the following topics: 1) Volume exposure: how much supply is being diverted away from the Strait of Hormuz, and how much production has been shut in? 2) Recovery trajectory: what will it take to restore shut-in production post-conflict, and and which countries are better positioned than others to recover quickly? 3) Cash flow impact: which regional NOCs are well-positioned to benefit from higher prices? 4) Growth strategies: what are the implications for corporate portfolios and investment plans? The webinar brought together analysts from our Middle East upstream and corporate team in what was a lively and informative discussion including some Q&A.
