Report summary
The Wisting project was postponed in late 2022 due to rising costs and concerns that it would struggle to be delivered on time and on budget. We have delayed a potential final investment decision (FID) until 2028 in line with operator guidance. Wisting consists of two discoveries: Wisting Central and Wisting Main (Hanssen). They are two of the most northerly discovery in Norway's Barents Sea and 170 kilometres northeast of Johan Castberg.
