Report summary

The Xerelete field (formerly known as Curi├│) is located in the southern Campos basin and is Total's first operated field in Brazil. In June 2012 the ANP approved the transfer of operatorship from Petrobras allowing Total to bring its global expertise in ultra deep offshore operations to Brazil. Xerelete was originally discovered by Total in 2001 in the former BC 2 block but was not fully appraised and declared commercial until 2007 by Petrobras (operator at the time). The oil ...
