The Stabroek block partners have also announced the Mako discovery, sitting only 10 kilometres away from Liza. In neighbouring Suriname, Total has acquired a 50% stake and operatorship of Apache's Block 58, highlighting a potentially sizeable discovery in the Maka Central-1 well.
