The giant Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye (Y-T) field lies in the Evenkii region of Krasnoyarsk Krai in East Siberia. Based on geological AB1C1+B2C2 reserves of 12 billion barrels of oil, it is the largest field in East Siberia. The field is operated by Rosneft subsidiary Vostochno-Sibirskaya Neftegazovaya Kompaniya (often referred to as Vostsibneftegaz or VSNK).Logistical and technical difficulties delayed development since discovery.
