The global offshore and onshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M) market will reach over US$37 billion in annual spend by 2029. Offshore wind O&M (bottom-fixed only) will reach US$12 billion in annual spend, and onshore wind O&M will grow to US$ 25 billion in the same time span.
Europe remains the biggest O&M market by region, reaching US$15.2 billion by 2029. But rapidly expanding markets in Asia and US could bring new challenges and opportunities for domestic industry as well as international investors. China is expected to overtake Europe and become the largest market for wind O&M.
