Report summary
The Ghasha concession contains nine undeveloped gas fields located in shallow waters offshore Abu Dhabi. The fields were discovered between 1968 and 1984 but were not deemed commercial at the time due to the ultra-sour nature of the gas. In 2016, ADNOC, OMV and Occidental Petroleum agreed to conduct a technical evaluation of the fields ahead of a potential development.
