Drayage trucking electrification

As fleet electrification gains traction beyond last-mile delivery, drayage trucks — which transport cargo containers from ports and rail yards to distribution centers — are the next step. Regulation from the federal and state governments support ports and fleet operators in decarbonizing their operations; however, technological, financial and infrastructural challenges remain to be overcome.
