Given the recent high profile power outages in New York, Hawaii, and Louisiana, we wanted to test the conventional wisdom that many microgrids are built following extreme weather events. Reviewing these events since 2012, we found the data does not support conventional wisdom: most microgrids are not built following natural disasters. Our Power & Renewables reports and data provide deep insight into the current and future state of electricity generation.
