As the State of Texas formulates strategic plans to address the structural issues that contributed to the February 2021 emergency, new legislature has been proposed and passed to the House and Senate for approval. There are actions that can be taken across all sectors within the energy value chain that would lead to a more reliable market and reduce the impacts of scarcity, even in the face of unprecedented weather events.
