People perform better when they can be themselves

Stonewall, Europe’s leading charity for lesbian, gay, bi and trans equality, works with more than 750 organisations to help them create workplaces that are inclusive and welcoming of LGBT people.

The Diversity Champions programme brings together top employers from across the UK, and beyond, to promote inclusivity and diversity in the workplace, helping businesses and public services to develop inclusive workplace cultures and ensuring staff can perform to their full potential.

Being a Stonewall Diversity Champion is a key part of Wood Mackenzie’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative, ensuring that all employees feel engaged, protected and empowered to perform well at work. This follows the successful launch of the 'Pride Wood Mackenzie' employee resource group last year.

EVP Human Resources, Wai-Fung Thompson, said: “We welcome ideas and unique contributions from every team member, and we consciously seek out diverse perspectives and experiences. This makes our company stronger - diversity provides different views on our business, leading to greater innovation and creativity, more effective decision-making and deeper customer understanding".
