He works across power markets in the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on South Asia. His expertise spans long-term power dispatch modelling, electricity market analysis, market intelligence and strategic research. Nikhil partners with clients to deliver data-driven insights, bespoke market assessments and forward-looking analysis, supporting investment decisions and strategic planning in rapidly evolving power markets.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Nikhil worked at an energy research and consulting organisation, where he specialised in GIS-based energy infrastructure analysis across Germany and the APAC . He was responsible for product development and delivered pre-feasibility and market studies for renewable energy developers, supporting project screening and investment decisions across India.
