Ruben Arratia

Ruben has more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry and is an expert on mineral economics, mineral policy, valuation of mine assets, benchmarking and competitive analysis, particularly in the Latin America region.

Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Ruben was a member of the board of directors of state mining companies in Peru, and mill superintendent of copper and gold mining operations. He was part of the team that advised the government of Ecuador on pragmatic mineral policies to attract investment to the Ecuadorian mining sector.
