Report summary
Crude oil prices have yo-yo-ed on speculation about output reductions. Propylene prices have spiked worldwide, but this is not expected to last. BASF has announced the closure of significant capacity in Germany, while Radici will acquire Invista's EP business. Production of nylon fibre in China has recovered following the G20 shutdowns with similarly little impact on sales. NA markets are subdued and PA markets remain flat. European filament prices remain static.
