Report summary
Asian PET export prices looked to be trending up, in step with Chinese domestic prices. In the US and Europe, however, prices trended down in August. There were strong results from both AMCOR and Nestle Waters, and Q2 US imports rose year-on-year, especially from non-NAFTA countries. Turkish imports continued to grow and Thai exports grew.
