Goedehoop is located in the Witbank Coalfield in the Mpumalanga Province. Goedehoop was Anglo American's largest exporting mine in South Africa, prior to 2015. The mine covers the Enkeldebosch 20 IS, Goedehoop 46 IS, Elandsfontein 309 JS, Welgevreden 324 JS Haasfontein 28 IS, Koornfontein 27 IS, Wilemsrust 47 IS farms. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
