Greenhills is a metallurgical coal mine in southeastern British Columbia, Canada, owned by Glencore. The mine and processing plant have a capacity of 6 Mt a year (100% basis). Glencore (77%), Nippon Steel(20%), and POSCO (3%) own Greenhills. The mine produces medium—to high-volatile metallurgical bituminous coal destined for the seaborne hard coking coal market. Greenhills is part of the Elk Valley complex.
