Report summary

Mandiri Intiperkasa is a small scale surface coal mine located near Tarakan, North Kalimantan. The mine commenced production in 2004, with the majority of the mine's sub-bituminous thermal coal production exported.  The mine is 50% owned by Harapan Mandiri Utama with the remainder held by private shareholders. The mine operates under a Coal Cooperation Agreement (CCA).
