Hurricane Florence disrupts US coal exports
Report summary
Hurricane Florence is projected to miss a main US coal export region at Hampton Roads. Even so, coal loadings will be disrupted as ships leave port to safer deep water. Hampton Roads is not in the current projected path of the storm which is expected to make landfall roughly 200 miles to the south. Even so, coal loadings have ceased while shipping has moved to deeper water for safety. How long will the disruption last?
