Manambang Muara Enim coal mine

Report summary

Manambang Muara Enim (MME) is an open-pit coal mine in Muara Enim regency of Indonesia's South Sumatra province. One of MME's shareholders is the Electricity Generating Public Company of Thailand (EGCO), which was Thailand's first independent power producer. MME started operation in July 2010 and will have an ultimate capacity of 5 Mtpa once it can get access to the South Sumatra rail line.
