Report summary
Mandalong is a mid-sized thermal coal mine located in the Newcastle Coalfield of the Sydney Basin. Banpu secured 100% of the mine through its takeover of Centennial in 2010. Mandalong operates within mining lease ML1443, which was granted in March 1999 and will expire in February 2020. Mandalong also holds numerous small leases (ML1543, ML1553, MPL191) as well as ML1431 that was granted in November 2003 for 21 years.
