Report summary

Moranbah North is an underground longwall mine located 18 kilometres north of the Moranbah township in Queensland producing hard coking coal for export markets. First production at Moranbah North was in 1997 following the grant of mining lease ML70108 in December 1995. Anglo American has majority ownership of the mine with an interest of 88%.
