Mt Owen Complex coal mine
Report summary
The Mt Owen Complex is a large surface mine located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales and produces thermal and semi-soft coking coal for export markets. The complex comprises of three mining areas: Mt Owen, Ravensworth East and Glendell. The three areas are run as an integrated operation utilising Mt Owen's coal preparation plant and transport infrastructure. The mine is owned and operated by Glencore.
