The Busang operation is part of the Multi Harapan Utama concession area, which spans 475 square kilometres and is located 60 kilometres south west of Samarinda, East Kalimantan. The Busang mine deplete its reserves by the end of 2012. There are additional resources that will could enable the mine to continue operating but these lie under plantation forests.
