Report summary
Newlands is located in the northern Bowen Basin and produces thermal and metallurgical coal for export markets. The mine is part of the Newlands - Collinsville - Abbot Point Joint Venture (NCA). Newlands mine includes mining leases ML4748, ML4771, & ML4774, the Eastern Creek satellite pits - ML4754 and ML4755 - and Suttor Creek and Wollombi satellite pits within ML4761. Underground operations at Newlands Northern are covered in a separate asset report.
