Premier coal mine

Report summary
Premier is the largest coal mine in Western Australia accounting for more than half of the state's coal production. The mine is located in the Collie Basin, approximately 200 kilometres south of Perth, and is the major source of thermal coal supply to local power stations. Operations occur within Mining Lease 262SA. The mine is operated by Yancoal Australia on behalf of its owner, Yancoal's major shareholder, Yankuang Energy.
