Tahmoor coal mine
Report summary
Tahmoor was an underground longwall operation located in the Southern Coalfields of NSW approximately 80 kilometres south of Sydney. Operations were completed in 2022, however there is an extension to operations, the Tahmoor South project which we cover in a separate asset report.The mine produces a hard coking coal product from the Bulli seam which is predominantly exported to steel producers in the Asian market. Mining occurs within ML1376.
