Accelerated Energy Transition Scenario, 1.5-degree pathway: Global net zero by 2050
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
We are pleased to release our Accelerated Energy Transition 1.5-Degree Scenario (AET-1.5). This is Wood Mackenzie’s scenario of how to align with the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement. Action is needed now: Global temperatures are already 1.2-degrees above pre-industrial levels; limiting to 1.5-degrees soon becomes unachievable without rapid and sustained action. Compared to our AET-2 scenario, emissions reduction efforts occur sooner and at a larger scale.
