Europe gas supply mix: 2018 in review

Report summary
During the first three quarters of 2018, Europe lacked supply flexibility. Russia, as the only flexible supplier, exported above its record-high 2017 levels in this period. However, exports moderated in the fourth quarter, in what could be a glimpse of the much-awaited LNG over-supply. And Russia did not reach its targeted 200 bcm of exports. This report reflects on the evolution of European gas fundamentals in 2018. Historical data on the European gas supply mix can be found in the excel download on the right hand side of the report page
