Insight
Global short-term LNG supply tracker (Q2 2022)
Report summary
Global supply loadings remained robust in May, running at 88% of nameplate capacity, bolstered by high prices. Maintenance season started in April. While we expect it to be softer than last year, additional turnarounds in the Middle East could create some risks. Once Snohvit restarts, all long-standing outages will have been addressed. The focus will then shift to backfill at existing facilities in Trinidad, Malaysia, Egypt, Angola and some Australian facilities.
