The Henry Hub gas price rally has halted despite weekly storage injections much lower than previously expected. Milder weather, seasonally lower LNG and disappointing gas drilling rig activity trends are weighing on prices. Strengthening the bears’ renewed resolve, although very low Northeast prices continue, regional production does not seem to be impacted. The weekly commodity report seeks to explore: • Is the L48 gas storage surplus still expanding? • What is behind tighter market conditions? • Are triple-digit weekly storage injections coming?
