Northeast pipeline regulatory and shipper database (Q1 2018): Racing to meet construction schedules

As regulatory jam in FERC eases, Northeast projects enter a new period of uncertainty with risks arounds state permits and legal hurdles. Wood Mackenzie estimates that 19 new projects, totalling 17.2 bcfd and operating across 13 pipeline routes in the Northeast region, will be operational by the end of 2021. The 2018 Q1 Northeast pipeline projects update includes: • FERC application status, receipt and delivery points, in-service date and capacity, and other important metrics for Northeast pipeline projects. This includes both those projects taking Marcellus and Utica supply to market and also projects aimed to improve deliverability in New York and New England. • Our estimates of shipper volumes. • A schematic map of upcoming projects in both northeast Pennsylvania and the southwest Marcellus and Utica.
