Responsibly sourced gas: cleaner, greener and here to stay

The energy transition is gaining momentum and fossil fuel companies are facing impending pressure to become environmentally conscious. In response, some of the major natural gas companies are moving towards providing responsibly sourced gas (RSG). While RSG is still a developing market and at an early stage, by certifying their product as RSG, companies can take extra steps to reduce their carbon footprint, mitigate emissions and demonstrate ‘responsible’ procurement practices. What exactly is RSG and what is the value of certifying gas for producers from both regulatory and cost perspectives?
