Review of PipeChina’s LNG terminal access in Q2 2021
Report summary
PipeChina recently disclosed the Q2 2021 data on its LNG terminal access services. As the peak winter season ended, NOCs’ share declined, with more buyers emerging from provincial SOEs and private companies. PipeChina will not bundle third-party access with NOCs’ legacy contracts, but non-NOCs have secured few new slots anyway, due to high global LNG prices and decelerated gas demand growth in H2.
