Commodity Market Report
Russia gas supply report - 2020
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Russia holds significant volumes of low-cost conventional gas resources. However, its legacy fields are in decline, and additional production will be required from the more challenging fields further north. A large proportion of these resources will be commercialised through LNG developments, improving Russia’s access to global gas markets. Russia will retain a European market share well above 30% in the medium term despite increased competition. Longer-term its export capacity to and market share in Europe, China and global LNG markets will continue to grow.
