What was once established with Bolivia as a major supplier and Argentina and Brazil as significant demand centres now experiences Bolivian gas production rapidly declining. At the same time, Argentinian gas production is growing, backed by strong unconventional potential. The country currently seeks new export opportunities and interconnecting to the Brazilian integrated market becomes (again) a focus of interest.
