Wood Mackenzie forecasts global gas demand to increase by 1.8% through to 2035. However, a world determined to reduce CO2 production and ensure global average temperature increases remain below 2%, as in the IEA Sustainable Development Scenario, would only see demand increase by 0.6% through the same period. What would be the implication of such a scenario on global gas and LNG dynamics? Massimo Di Odoardo, Vice President Global Gas and LNG Research, explored this topic in his presentation at the London Gas and LNG Forum on 2 October 2018. Please see the related attachment for his presentation.
