The proposed 20 mmtpa Alaska LNG project has regained momentum following President Trump's support and Glenfarne's March 2025 acquisition of a 75% stake from Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC) in developer 8 Star Alaska LLC. AGDC retains a 25% stake.
