Report summary
BP views LNG as a central fuel in the energy transition. After its strategy reset in February 2025, BP retired its previous target of 30 mmtpa by 2030 and shifted attention towards value and returns rather than volume growth. That said, through discplined growth, we still expect BP to meet this previous target.
