Discovered by Eni in 2012, Coral is a deepwater gas field in Area 4 of the Rovuma basin, 70 km offshore Mozambique. It is being developed using the Coral Sul floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) vessel, operated by the Mozambique Rovuma Venture (a joint venture of Eni, ExxonMobil, and CNPC).
