The Fortuna FLNG project is the name of the project to develop the Fortuna, Tonel and Viscata fields in Block EG-27 (formerly known as Block R). Th previous operator - Ophir Energy - lost the licence on the block continuing Fortuna at end-2018. The operator, in conjunction with Golar LNG, failed to obtain project financing.
