Futtsu - LNG regas terminal

Report summary

The first shipments arrived into Futtsu in 1985. The terminal was expanded in 2002, and in November 2008 the berthing facilities were modified so that the terminal could receive Q-Flex tankers, up to 217,000 m³ in size. However, it did not receive its first Q-Flex vessel until April 2011. It is the second largest regas terminal in Japan by nominal capacity.
