The November TTF contract settled at $12.6/mmbtu as prices increased, closing the discount for Northeast Asian DES cross-basin arbitrage opportunities. European gas balance remained flat week-on-week despite extended unplanned maintenance at Norway's Troll gas field, reducing 15.8 mcmd of its 133 mcmd capacity from 2-3 October. Greece's Alexandroupolis LNG terminal began operations on 1 October, with send-outs expected to rise after receiving its first commercial cargo on 3 October.
