Report summary
The Greater Sunrise area is located approximately 450 kilometres northwest of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, and 150 kilometres south of Timor-Leste in the Timor Sea. It includes the Sunrise and Troubadour gas/condensate fields. Following a lengthy dispute, a permanent maritime border was agreed between the two nations in March 2018, at the UN Law of the Sea convention.
