INPEX's Naoetsu regasification facility is located in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, in north-western Japan, and shares an import terminal with Chubu Electric's Joetsu regasification plant. It started commercial operations in December 2014, but took commissioning cargos starting in September.
