Jordan Cove LNG is a subsidiary of Veresen, a pipeline, midstream and power company based in Calgary. The company plans to build a 7.8 mmtpa LNG export project on the US west coast, located at Coos Bay in Oregon. Originally authorised for the purpose of building a regas terminal, Veresen announced in late 2011 that its plans for the site had changed in favour of building an LNG export terminal.
