Report summary
Project activity: New projects launched and others were cancelled. Tellurian started its FERC filing for Driftwood LNG, a planned 26 mmtpa modular development on the Calcasieu River, Louisiana. While a 12-year effort to build a facility at Warrenton, Oregon came to an end FERC Queue: Three projects received FERC authorisation – Magnolia, Cameron Expansion and Elba Island FID tracker: Shell extended its deferred FID at LNG Canada from end-2016 fro an indefinite period of time and deferred FID at Lake Charles. An FID at Elba Island is expected in Q3 2016. Marketing: Chinese buyers – Guangzhou Gas and JOVO – signed deals with developers in Canada and the Gulf Coast, with an option of taking an equity stake.
