Enron pioneered the Dabhol terminal as India's first integrated LNG and power project. The first phase of the power project was completed by Enron in 1995, and they initially operated the first unit on naphtha. Enron's subsidiary, the Dabhol Power Company, signed two supply contracts - one with Oman LNG for 1.6 mmtpa from 2001 to 2021 and a second with ADGAS for 0.48 mmtpa over the same period.
