Report summary

The Dabhol terminal was originally pioneered by Enron as the first integrated LNG and power project in India. Enron completed the first phase of the power project in 1995, and initially ran the first unit on naphtha until LNG became available. Enron's subsidiary, the Dabhol Power Company, had signed two supply contracts for the terminal - one with Oman LNG for the delivery of 1.6mmtpa between 2001-2021 and a second with ADGAS for a supply of 0.48 mmtpa over the same timeframe.
