Sabine Pass LNG Train 6 is part of a six-train LNG export development. Sabine Pass Liquefaction (SPL) operates the six trains as a single, integrated facility. The terminal is located on the Sabine Neches Waterway, in southwest Louisiana. Train 6 is identical to the previous five trains. The nominal capacity of the original trains at Sabine Pass was initially 4.5 mmtpa, but from 2018 to 2021, Cheniere gradually increased the adjusted nominal capacity of each train to 4.9 - 5.1 mmtpa.
