Brazil's Santos Basin pre-salt oil and gas discoveries are located around 300 kilometres (186 miles) offshore southeast Brazil. The area around the flagship Lula field, called the Santos Basin Cluster Area, has yielded several world-class discoveries to date and is highly prospective.
